Northsider Film is an independent production company focused on the disciplined development of original ideas and deliberate pacing to create work that lasts.
Projects are built in stages so creative, production and finance can advance concurrently without competing for attention or resources. Deep preparation always comes before commitment. Resources are applied only where they materially strengthen the project. The aim is to build each project with intention so quality, flexibility and optionality increase as it moves forward, attracting the right people at the right time.

Actually, a Northsider is somebody who grew up on the north side of the River Liffey in Ireland, as I did in the 1970s and '80s. Families weren't usually that well off. People worked hard and played hard. To others they were often the underdog in a society that had already been trodden on enough. But like all Irish people, a Northsider is sharp, funny, earnest and full of heart.
For the record, I don't eat my young but I am full of heart. Canada is where I have lived a full life for more than two decades, building a career and raising a family in Vancouver. But I will always be a Northsider through and through, so for a time, I'm bringing my work home.
